This nordic center allows dogs on some of their cross-country ski trails. Their web site says they have 5 km of trails for dogs but when we called they only mentioned a small .4 km trail. Availability of trails could possibly be based on snow conditions, so be sure to call before you go. The dog trails are sometimes groomed and pets need to be leashed.

Dogs are allowed on one cross-country ski trail. It is called the Honeymoon Trail which is about an 8km groomed round trip trail. Dogs should be leashed on the resort property and on the trail. This resort has a nordic center which rents skis and snowshoes. If you are looking for a place to stay, the Bretton Arms Country Inn allows well-behaved dogs for an extra charge. The inn is less than a five minute walk from the Mount Washington Hotel and the ski rental center.

This winter sports Mecca was rated one of the top ten ski areas in the east by readers of a popular ski magazine. Dogs are allowed on the West side of the mountain only on the beginner's trail that follows along the river. Dogs are not allowed on the east side of the mountain. Dogs must be under their owner's control at all times, and please clean up after your pet along the trails.

The cross-country ski rental center at this resort is only open on the weekends. They have over 25km of groomed cross-country and snowshoeing trails. Dogs are allowed on the lower cross-country ski trails which are located south of route 86. They just ask that dogs walk alongside but not directly on the groomed trails. It is a short walk from the Golf Course Shop where you rent the skis to the trailhead. This trail system connects up to the 50km Jackrabbit Trail. Dogs need to be leashed at the resort and on the trails. Pets are welcome to stay with you at this resort for an extra pet fee.

As one of North Americas' largest ski resorts, skiers, snowboarders, and Nordic skiers will find great conditions with plenty of snow, a large terrain, short lift lines, great value, 4 different terrain parks, and an Olympic size superpipe. Mt. Bachelor is nearly 3700 acres of varied terrain atop the high desert of the Central Cascades in the Deschutes National Forest. They also offer tubing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, and they host the North American Pond Skimming Championships each year. They are open from mid-November to Memorial Day for the ski season, and from July 1st through Labor Day for summer sightseeing. Dogs of all sizes are allowed throughout the year. In the summer, your pet can even ride the chair lift, and is allowed throughout the park. In the winter, there are some ski trails and trails that dogs can be on. Dogs must be leashed at all times, and cleaned up after. Dogs must be friendly and well behaved.
